Almost as soon as Romero's baking stand popped up, I started finding excuses to go grab a sweet treat as often as possible. Everything we've ever tried has been delicious, especially any version of their brownies. Not only is the stand an absolute gem but Monica and John were able to help me out in a pinch and made the most delightful almond cake with raspberry jam. It was a huge hit and I highly recommend considering Romero for your next special occasion or sugar fix!

Hands down the best hand-baked brownies I have ever had in my life!! The chocolate caramel and sea salt is 100% worth $6 better than any brownie you can get at any store that I have tried since lived here in the last 8 months!! For hand-baked and as tasty and wonderful as all of the treats are the price is really unmatched. I have had many more expensive homemade treats in this town and them not taste half as delicious! Thank you so much for setting up your little stand. The stand is clean, easy to understand and read, easy to pay. (Especially, contactless payment or cash even!) I live over on 10th and it's such an amazing treat every once in awhile to walk by and stock up on all of your goodies, but the brownies are by far my favorite! The stand is literally right on the union street side walk about 250-309ft heading into old town from deerings market!

Hubby & I walked over from our Airbnb this past weekend. Those Turtle Brownies were some of the best brownies I've *ever* had. We'll definitely be back!

We drove past & went around the block thinking we missed it! Walked to this super cute little bakery in a think cute library case! I had the chocolate chip & it was delicious! My husband had the sugar cookie which was delicious & decorated so flippin cute! After reading reviews, I know want the turtle brownie!

I found Romero Baking Co on Google and arrived at 9pm. When I arrived, I saw baked goods in a wooden box near the sidewalk just in front of a house. I thought the house was the bakery so I walked up to the door and a gentleman greeted me and informed me the bakery is actually the wooden box. I was somewhat surprised because I’ve never seen anything like this before. I purchased a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. The brownie has the weight of a brick, but it was soft and pure deliciousness!! The chocolate chip cook was just as good! Neither were too sweet which in my opinion is good. I’m from out of town, but will be returning before I go back home. I highly recommend visiting this little gem or what I will now call, “a bakery in a box”. :)
